Royal Poinciana's should only be planted in the warmer parts of Brevard County. A hard freeze can kill even a mature tree. Bright, red-orange flowers engulf the canopy of this tree during the summer months. They can take up to 8-10 years to flower. Roots appear on the surface surrounding the tree and will push up sidewalks/driveways. Plant in the ground using a Success Kit.
