The Red Rocket Crape Myrtle is one of the few true red varieties of Crape Myrtle. Many claim to be red but are actually shades of pink. This large-sized variety of Crape Myrtle has thus far only been found in shrub form, but with patience and training, you may be able to prune it into a tree or multi-trunk form. Plant in the ground using a Success Kit and fertilize in spring in fall with Espoma Plant-tone.
