This plant has gained the common name 'False Agave' because of its striking resemblance to the traditional Agave plant. Fortunately, this plant has all of the beauty of Agave but lacks the pointy leaf blades. This low maintenance, drought tolerant plant makes an excellent xeriscape planting. Make sure to plant in well draining, sandy soil. Fertilize with Harrell's in spring and fall.
