Yellow Elder is a great plant for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. The bright, yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers appear on and off throughout the year and are followed by small seed pods. Cut off seed pods to promote more blooms. Plant in the ground using a Success Kit or in large containers with Happy Frog Potting Soil. Fertilize in spring and fall with Espoma Plant-tone.
