Found in disturbed areas, Sunshine Mimosa is a host for the Little Sulphur Butterfly and makes a great lawn alternative in low-traffic, sunny spots. While it may die back in cold winters, it quickly regrows in spring. This nitrogen-fixing plant prefers moist soil but can tolerate dryness once established.
Florida natives require NO fertilizer and promotes biodiversity of our natural heritage!
