Small, fragrant blooms appear spring to summer followed by red berries in late summer to fall. The flowers provide nectar for butterflies and are pollinated by honeybees, while the berries are food for local wildlife. Though the berries are similar in size and shape to coffee beans, they are not typically harvested for human consumption and do not contain caffeine. Plant in the ground using a Success Kit or in medium to large containers with Happy Frog Potting Soil.
