AKA Golden Hawaiian bamboo has 4 inch culms that are bright yellow with green stripes and is cold hardy to 27 degrees. The culms are wide spaced and form fairly open clumps. It is also known as "painted" bamboo. Clumping bamboo spreads outward from a central point and does not spread out of control. Plant in the ground using a Success Kit and fertilize with Harrell's every other month.
