Bay Cedar is an endangered Florida Native shrub that is most commonly seen growing in thickets and sand dunes. It is the host for the larva of two butterflies, the martial scrub-hairstreak and the mallow scrub-hairstreak. Small, yellow flowers appear on and off throughout the year. Plant using a Success Kit and fertilize with Espoma Plant-tone in spring and fall.
