Podocarpus makes an excellent formal style hedge. It is one of the few shrubs which can be relied upon to stay full at the bottom when sheared to a narrow profile. Blue berries sometimes appear in spring. Plant in the ground using a Success Kit or in containers with Happy Frog Potting Soil. Fertilize in spring and fall with Espoma Plant-tone.
