This native wildflower reseeds prolifically and enjoys full sun. The small, blue and white flowers sport dainty polka dots and appear in flushes. The flowers last one day, but this is a continuous bloomer. Because it reseeds readily, give it some space to multiply. The plant itself has a slight fragrance and is a great nectar source for butterflies, but especially for native bees. The plant does best in the garden where it can establish a population and performs well in sandy soil.
