The Catawba Crape Myrtle is a medium-sized Crape Myrtle cultivar. The purple blossoms appear summer through fall before the foliage turns to an orange-red color and then drops for the winter. When available from the growers, this cultivar comes in tree-form or multi-trunk form. Plant in the ground using a Success Kit and fertilize in spring and fall with Espoma Plant-tone.
