Hibiscus 'Lord Baltimore'

The 'Lord Baltimore' hibiscus is a cultivar of Hibiscus moscheutos (Rose Mallow) and known for its large, dinner plate size blooms. This variety produces striking red flowers with a dark center from early summer until fall.

It's also valued for its ability to thrive in wet and salty conditions, making it an excellent choice for coastal areas, borders, water gardens, or any area with moist soil.

In addition to its visual appeal, the Hibiscus moscheutos is a host plant for the Gray Hairstreak and a magnet for pollinators, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. 

This hardy shrub prefers full to part sun and well-drained soil, the Hibiscus 'Lord Baltimore' is relatively low-maintenance, requiring minimal care once established.
