This beautiful member of the ginger family adds a great deal of interest to a shade garden with its unique flowers. The blooms are edible (taste similar to grapes) and also make a great cut flower. Plant in the ground using a Success Kit or in medium sized containers with Happy Frog Potting Soil. Fertilize in spring and fall with Espoma Plant-tone.
