Hibiscus Stary Start Night 3 gal

Midnight Marvel hibiscus is a cultivar of Hibiscus moscheutos (Rose Mallow). Known for its large, dinner plate size blooms and deep wine-purple foliage. Host plant for the Gray Hairstreak. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Excellent choice for coastal areas, borders, water gardens, or any area with well drained, moist soil. Goes dormant in winter and dies back to the ground. Cut dead stalks back to a few inches above the ground in late winter or early spring before new shoots appear.

**Fertilize with Espoma Holly-tone in mid to late spring when active growth begins.
